1(Saturday): 8 - 11+ pm: Palomanians Folk Dance Party. Dance
program of about 1/2 couple dances and 1/2 non-partner. Cost $6.

February 7 – 9 (Friday – Sunday): The 33rd annual Laguna Folkdancers Festival will be held in Newport Beach, CA. Teachers will be Steve Kotansky and Ahmet Luleci. The total price for all activities is only $40.00. For more information visit http://www.lagunafolkdancers.org.

February 15 –16 (Saturday and Sunday): The Sixth Bay Area Circle Dance weekend with Stefan and Bethan Freedman will be held at the Hillside Community Church, 1422 Navellier, El Cerrito from 1:00 to 8:00 P.M. February 15 –16 (Saturday and Sunday) The Fourth Annual Tamburitza Festival at Slavonic Cultural Center, 60 Onondaga Street, at Alemany, San Francisco from 8:00 P.M. to midnight (Saturday): and 2:30 to 8:00 P.M. February 23 (Sunday): All Bay Area dancers and their friends are invited to attend the 55th Annual Festival of the Oaks held this year at Laney College Gym, 900 Fallon St., Oakland (one block from Lake Merrit BART station) on Sunday, February 23, 2003. Registration begins at 9:45 AM with a workshop taught by Carol Hirsh from 10 AM to Noon. There will be a meeting of the California Folk Dance Federation from Noon to 1 PM. General dancing will begin at 1:30 PM until 5 PM. At 3 PM there will be an intermission with entertainment by the Danny Nguyen Dancers and Musicians.
