August 5 (Thursday): Mandala will be closed for floor refinishing and will reopen on Thursday, 12 August.
August 8 (Sunday): Subor/Sqbor Festival at St. Mary's College, Moraga with great music and food. Details to follow.
August 9 (Monday): Greek Feet sponsors "The Leo Blast", a Greek dance party for all those born under the sun sign Leo at the Presidio Dance Academy, 1158 Gorgas, at Marshall, Presidio of San Francisco from 7:30 to 9:30 P.M. Admission is $10.00. For more information contact Mary Ann Karonis.
August 14 (Saturday): Shalom Dancers Israeli dance party at the Palo Alto JCC, 3921 Fabian Way, Palo Alto from 8:30 P.M. to 1:00 A.M. Admission is $10.00 for adults and $6.00 for students under 25 with ID. For more information contact Karina Lambert.
August 24 (Wednesday): A sixteen week Balkan dance class for experienced folk dancers begins at Santa Rosa Junior College, Tauzer Gym room 905, Santa Rosa from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Cost for the complete series is $49.00. For more information contact Marilyn Smith.
